On behalf of the iWAT 2010
Technical Program Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you
to the 2010 International Workshop on Antenna Technology, focused on
Small Antennas, Innovative Structures and Materials. The workshop will
be held at the
Congress Center of Instituto Superior Técnico,
Lisbon, Portugal, on March 1-3, 2010.
This year we have assembled again an excellent and exciting conference program thanks to the commitment of the Technical Program
and Organizing Committee members. We have received over 160 papers with authors from more than 30 Countries and Territories:
54% from Europe, Middle East and Africa, 32% from Asia/Pacific and 14% from North and South America.
After a rigorous review process, about 110 papers have been selected for poster presentation, a privileged presentation format of iWAT,
allowing plenty of time for ample discussion with authors. We have also organized 8 convened plenary oral sessions, each one starting
with a
keynote talk by leading experts. These sessions, with about 40 presentations, cover a broad range of topics such as body-centric antennas,
antennas on chip and integrated antennas, broadband and UWB antennas, small antennas and sensors, antenna measurement and validation, millimeter,
sub-millimeter and THz antennas, new materials for antenna performance enhancement and MIMO antennas.

|
In addition, the Workshop includes an industrial panel session where antenna design challenges ahead will be addressed by leading experts with
the aim to bridge the gap between the industrial perspective and the academia. |
|
|
|
We believe that we have put together an interesting, intriguing and exciting
technical program for iWAT 2010 and feel confident to invite you to come and participate. |
|
|
|
We look forward to seeing you in Lisbon on March 1 – 3, 2010, and hope you will thoroughly enjoy the Workshop. |
