General Chair Message

On behalf of the Steering Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 6th edition of the International Workshop on Antenna Technology during 1-3 March, 2010 (iWAT2010) at Lisbon, Portugal. iWAT2010 will be hosted by IT- Instituto de Telecomunicações, and IST- Instituto Superior Técnico – Technical University of Lisbon. iWAT is coming back to Europe, after a successful series of annual international antenna workshops held in Singapore (2005), White Plaines, USA (2006), Cambridge, UK (2007), Chiba, Japan (2008), and Santa Monica, USA (2009). Lisbon is one of the most ancient cities in Europe and has one of the oldest Universities in the world that dates back to 1292. Portugal has a long history of finding new lands and cultures and has a reputation of hospitality that makes the country a natural host to international events. I am sure your presence and contributions to this workshop will make it a valuable and exciting event. As in the previous editions we expect you to benefit from the high quality keynotes, papers, posters, and panels followed by fruitful discussions with colleagues on stimulating topics in our field.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the individuals and organizations, who have provided their support to iWAT2010.
