Authors MUST submit original camera-ready papers up to 4 A4 pages including figures by October 14, 2009 via the EDAS website. Electronic submissions must meet IEEE Xplore specifications, including embedding of all fonts in the PDF file. See templates below and more information on creating acceptable electronic files.

 
Papers will be peer reviewed and those effectively presented at the Workshop, oral or poster, will be included in the iWAT 2010 compilation for the IEEE Xplorer (only for manuscripts complying with the indicated formats).
 
The following are the recommended procedures for authors:
 
 1. Paper Preparation
 
The format for the manuscript must satisfy the requirements as described in the PDF file, or in paper template MS Word.
 
 2. Pdf Conversiton
All paper submissions must be electronic, using IEEE Xplore compliant PDF format (*.pdf). A failure to do so may result in the rejection of the paper. Embedded Type 1 or True Type fonts are required in the submitted PDF file as subset fonts. Type 3 fonts (bitmaps) will not be accepted.
 
Authors can use the IEEE PDF eXpress tool to generate compliant PDF files. Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Workshop ID which is: <iwat10x>. Note that this tool is used just to generate the PDF file and not to submit the paper to the workshop. Instructions for paper uploading to the workshop database are given in section 3 below.
 
If the IEEE PDF eXpress tool is not used, the following information must be considered to produce compliant PDF files:
 
 3. Paper Submission
 
Authors MUST submit their papers electronically using EDAS. The submission process involves the following three steps:
  • Step One: Create a personal account on EDAS (if the author does not already have one).
  • Step Two: Register the paper by entering the title and an abstract of up to 100 words to appear in the book of abstracts. Note: Be certain to provide information for all authors including affiliation and country when you register the manuscript. Otherwise, the author listing will be incomplete in all web and print listings of the technical program.
  • Step Three: Upload of the paper. Only the IEEE Xplore compliant PDF format is allowed. The maximum length of the paper is 4 pages.
 
 4. IEEE Copyright Form
 
For accepted papers, please submit the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form through the EDAS system. You can go to the label "My papers" after you log into EDAS system. Click the copyright sign "©" beside the upload folder icon, then click the Copyright Submission button and follow the instructions of IEEE Electronic Copyright From.
